甲：轉動旋轉把手驅動凸輪組將球向上移到平台，踩下腳踏板，利用槓桿將運球平台升起，把球頂入船艙內。

乙：這個展品是運用凸輪作為傳動機件將球頂入船艙內的。傳動機件，顧名思義就是把動力傳遞出去的機件。凸輪是具有不規則輪廓的輪，也是常用的傳動機件。我們讓和凸輪接觸的機件（從動件）隨著凸輪運動，完成設計好的運動任務。以現場的展品為例，我們不是直接施力去推球，而是轉動旋轉把手，驅動把手所接的凸輪組帶動球前進，此時的傳動機件就是凸輪組。

甲：嬰兒學步車上叮叮咚咚的鈴鐺、汽車引擎的氣門，都是運用凸輪控制的實例喔！

公主：咦？這個大樹幹中間好像有個大鼓，上面鋪著好多白色小球，前面還有一個麥克風。這是用來唱歌，還是打鼓的裝置嗎？

小精靈：你猜得很接近喔！這是可以用聲音「畫出圖案」的裝置。來～對著麥克風發出長長的聲音，要盡量大聲、穩定喔！像是「啊——」，再看看小球會發生什麼事。

公主：啊！

小精靈：等等～有個小秘訣，要用雙手將嘴巴和麥克風一起罩住，再發出又大又長又穩定的聲音，效果會更好！

公主：那我要喊了喔！啊～～～！哇！小球像爆米花一樣跳起來了！有的地方小球跳得很開心，有的幾乎不動，而且……好像慢慢排成一圈一圈的圖案耶！

小精靈：觀察得真仔細！當你對著麥克風發聲，聲音經由大鼓內部的喇叭放大後，使空氣產生更明顯的波動，同時讓鼓面產生振動，連帶使小球上上下下的跳動。

公主：喔～原來……那為什麼有些地方，小球不會跳？

小精靈：因為持續的波動在鼓面上來回反射、互相干擾而形成駐波。鼓面振動最劇烈的地方叫「波腹」，小球在那裡跳動得厲害，會被彈開；而鼓面上幾乎不動的地方叫「波節」，小球會慢慢聚在那裡，所以漸漸形成了特殊的圖案。

公主：哇～原來小球都跳去波節排隊了！

小精靈：呵呵！排隊這個描述蠻有趣的！兩百多年前，德國科學家克拉尼發現這個現象，所以這種圖案稱為「克拉尼圖形」。你可以再試一次，改變聲音的高低，看看圖形會不會跟著改變。

公主：好！我要試試看用不同高低的聲音，能不能畫出新的圖案！啊——

Princess: Huh? There's a drum inside this big tree trunk with lots of little white balls on it, and there's a microphone in front. Is this a singing or a drumming machine?

Fairy: A very close guess! This device uses sound to "draw patterns." Come! Make a long sound into the microphone—loud and steady! Like "aaah—"; then see what happens to the little balls!

Princess: Aaah!

Fairy: Hold on! There's a trick to it. Use your hands to cover your mouth and the microphone. Then make another loud and long and steady sound. That'll work even better!

Princess: I'm going to scream! Aaaaah!!! Woah! The little balls are jumping around like popcorn! They're jumping happily in some places, but some are barely moving. Also... it looks like they're slowly making circles!

Fairy: Good observation! When you make a sound into the microphone, a speaker inside the drum makes your voice louder. This creates clear waves in the air and makes the drumhead vibrate, causing the little balls to jump up and down.

Princess: Woah! So that's what's going on... But then why don't the balls jump in some places?

Fairy: That's because continuous waves are reflected back and forth on the drumhead, interfering with each other and creating standing waves. The places on the drumhead where the vibrations are most intense are called "antinodes"—that's where the balls are dancing most wildly and bounce away. The places on the drumhead that barely move are called "nodes." The balls slowly gather there, gradually forming unique patterns.

Princess: Woah! So the little balls are all jumping to the nodes to line up!

Fairy: Hehe! "Line up" is an interesting way of putting it! Two hundred years ago, the German scientist Ernst Chladni discovered this phenomenon, so these patterns are called "Chladni's figures." You can try again. Try changing the pitch of your voice and see if the pattern changes shape.

Princess: Okay! I'll try high and low voices and see if I can draw new patterns! Aaah—

甲：當小朋友依照語音提示跳到軟墊上後，左手邊的銀幕會立刻出現剛剛在跳躍時的分格影像，小朋友會發現到，雖然跳下來只有短短的1秒鐘，但是自己的身體還做了不少動作呢！

乙：這是因為當小朋友跳躍的時候，有兩台攝影機分別由兩個角度進行連續攝影，所以在螢幕上就能看到由兩個方向拍攝到的連續分解動作。這種攝影是利用連續曝光的方法，在一秒鐘內拍攝多次的影像，如此就可以捕捉因為視覺暫留限制，眼睛無法看清楚的動作細節了。

甲：桶子喇叭是利用桶子和共振喇叭的接觸放大聲音，不同材質桶子會呈現出本身特殊的音色，讓觀眾體驗音色之美，並能辨識音色的不同。

乙：在談音色之前，我們要先了解聲音：聲音是由發聲的物體震動作為介質的空氣而產生的。當物體發聲時，一般都不會只有一個頻率，而是可以分解成數個不同頻率的音層層疊加。這些頻率都是某一頻率的倍數，這個基礎頻率的音就稱作基音，其餘複合頻率的音則組合成泛音。

甲：實際上，樂器和自然界裏所有的音都有泛音。而基音和泛音的組合，使人能辨別出不同的樂器甚至不同的動物發出的聲音，這就是所謂的音色，因此音色就是聲音的特色。不同音色的聲音，即使在同一音高或同一響度的情況下，也能讓人清楚地辨別。

You can swing by the Supermarket to pick out some food and find out how nutritious your choices are. Next, feel free to visit the Pastry Shop to make some tasty treats and admire some lovely cake and pastry decorations. At the Dental Clinic, you can learn the best way to brush your teeth for a healthier smile. And don't forget to stop by the Recycling Company, where you can play a "sorting game" by putting stuff in the right recycling bins to help protect the Earth!

Fun City is also home to a Flower Shop, City Public Works Department, Shipping Company, and Radio Station. At each place, you'll encounter fun missions and games! You can be an engineer or even a radio DJ! Invite everyone to join in on the fun using just your voice. It's a blast!

We also have the children's Traffic Park. Everyone loves it! You'll find mini-roads, crosswalks, and traffic lights. You can drive cars, ride bikes, learn traffic rules, and discover safe ways to cross the road. Remember: Stop on red, go on green, and always look left and right before crossing. That's how you can stay safe!

このほかにも、「FUNシティ」には花屋さん、公共設備局、運送会社、ラジオ局などもあって、それぞれ楽しいミッションやゲームが用意されているよ！ 例えば、エンジニアになってみたり、ラジオ局のパーソナリティになってみたり、自分の声が街中に流れるなんて、ワクワクするよね！

そしてそして、大人気の「こども交通公園」もあるよ！ミニ版の横断歩道や信号機がちゃんとあって、車やバイクを運転しながら交通ルールや横断歩道の安全な渡り方も学べるぞ！ 赤信号はストップ、青信号はゴー、左右もしっかり見て、安全を確認しよう！

馬路如虎口，交通安全做陣走！

透過繪本《過馬路停看聽》，以故事與問答帶領3-8歲孩童模擬道路情境；結合「拼拼安全路」模組，讓孩子親手鋪設道路並操作小卡車，直觀辨識「內輪差」死角與危險；活動全程融入國家語言互動，營造友善語境，讓交通安全教育向下扎根，守護平安成長。

一起來聽聽那個月圓的晚上，小動物們看見了甚麼魔法吧！

跟著繪本《那個月圓的晚上》，孩子將化身小小觀察員，探索物種共生的奧秘與重要性；故事帶領大家認識漁港風情及海洋生態，傳達海洋資源與飲食文化的緊密連結，宣導環境保護與資源永續等議題；全程融入本土語言互動，打造友善語境，學習珍惜自然並與之共存的價值；透過動手繪製臺灣特有種動物拼圖，認識臺灣特有動物的珍貴。

新進水手：報告大副！這艘貨船上的大球貨物要怎麼搬到高處呢？難道要一顆一顆用手拿嗎？

大副：哈哈，小子，咱們當水手的要懂得運用智慧！你看眼前這個螺旋裝置，這可是古希臘天才阿基米德發明的「阿基米德螺旋」喔！

新進水手：這個嗎？我轉動旁邊的把手看看喔……隨著我轉動把手，裡面的球竟然順著螺旋軌道，一點一點往上升了！

大副：沒錯！這就是阿基米德螺旋最神奇的地方。你看，當螺旋轉動時，每一圈的斜面都在推著小球往上爬。據說當年阿基米德在埃及，就是發明這個裝置來幫農民，把河水抽到高處灌溉；後來，他甚至把這個方法用在大船上，解決了大船滲水、船艙積水的難題。他把斜面捲成螺旋狀，讓貨物或水能沿著軌道輕鬆往上爬。

新進水手：太厲害了！原本要垂直往上搬很費力，現在只要轉一下把手，球就自動上去了。

大副：這就是科學的魅力！將斜面捲起來，我們就能更省力地運送東西了。小子，加油！把所有的貨物都運到貨倉，準備啟航出發囉！

新進水手：沒問題，大副！大家也快來幫我一起轉動手把，看看誰運送得最快吧！

大副：無毋著！這就係阿基米德螺旋最神奇个地方。你看，螺旋在該捩个時節，每一圈个斜面都在𢱤等這球仔上去。聽人講，該當時阿基米德在埃及，就係發明這個設備來同耕種人𢯭手同河壩水抽到過高个所在來蔭水；落尾，佢甚至同這種方法用在大船仔頂項，解決吔大船仔會洩水、船艙會積水个難題。佢同斜面捲做螺旋个形仔，分貨品抑係水這兜做得順等軌道輕輕鬆鬆送上去。

新來个船員：還會哪！原旦愛用恁仔直上直下个方式搬上去，正式蓋食力，這下單淨同手把恁仔捩一下仔，球仔就會自動上去吔。

大副：這就係科學餳人个所在！同斜面恁仔捲起來，𠊎等運送東西該下就做得還過省力。細阿哥仔，加油！同全部个貨品總下運到貨倉肚去，𠊎等準備愛來出發哩喲！

新來个船員：沒問題，大副！大家人乜遽啊來𢯭轉把手，看啊麼人个手腳最遽最迷板！

小精靈：這裡就是奇幻國最神祕的「幻影迷宮」。進入迷宮絕對不能奔跑，才不會撞上鏡子喔！

公主：好，不要跑，不要跑，疑～右邊牆上有一個會動的大鏡子耶！

小精靈：這是「哈哈鏡」，請你站在鏡子前面，仔細觀察有什麼變化？

公主：疑～鏡子往外凸的時候，我似乎變矮也變胖了，哇！鏡子往內凹的時候，我又變得好瘦好高喔！

小精靈：哈哈！我們往左走，去幻影迷宮冒險吧！

公主：好！慢慢走……哇！好多個我，而且找不到路在哪裡，這也是魔法嗎？

小精靈：這是「平面鏡成像」與「多重反射」造成的效果，很神奇吧！迷宮牆由許多鏡子組成，影像會
在鏡子間不斷反射成像，讓人搞不清楚什麼是真的，什麼是假的。

公主：太酷了～這裡有個發光的「幻影球」，是什麼？

小精靈：你看，中間螢幕變換的圖案雖然簡單，但透過四面斜斜的鏡子不斷反射，看起來是不是像一顆漂亮的萬花筒球呢？這也是利用平面鏡多重反射而產生的視覺效果喔！

公主：喔～原來如此。ㄟ，這個「握握手」有點可怕耶，把手伸進去，裡面好像會有另一隻手伸出來，但我好想跟它擊掌、give me five！

小精靈：發現了嗎，這是一個球面鏡。當你把手移動到球心的位置時，就會形成一個和你的手大小相等但方向相反的實像。來～把手前後左右慢慢移動看看，是不是手向右影像就向左，手向上影像就向下。只要找對位置，就能成功和自己握手喔！

公主：看起來幻影迷宮裡還藏有不少好玩的東西喔，我要繼續來探險囉！

Fairy: This is Magic Land's most mysterious hadow Maze." Don't run inside the maze, or you'll bump into the mirrors!

Princess: That's so cool! There's a shiny "Shadow Sphere" here. What's that?

Fairy: Look, even though the pattern changing on the screen in the middle is simple, it's reflected constantly by four inclined mirrors. Doesn't it look like a beautiful kaleidoscope sphere? This visual effect is also created by plane mirror imaging and multiple reflection!

Princess: Ohhh, so that's what's happening. Hey, this "Let's Shake Hands" is a bit scary. When I put my hand inside, it looks like another hand comes out. I want to give it a high five!

Fairy: Did you notice? This is a spherical mirror. When your hand moves to the center of the sphere, it forms an image that's the same size as your hand but moves in the opposite direction. Here, try moving your hand around slowly. When you move your hand right, the image moves left, and when you move up, it moves down. If you find the right spot, you can shake your own hand!

公主：這裡好多可愛的玩偶！粉紅色的「大耳朵精靈」、「綠色獨眼怪」，還有……拿著雨傘、長得像星星的「亮亮寶貝」？咦～他們排成一圈是在開舞會嗎？

小精靈：呵呵，你先選一圈玩偶仔細觀察，每一個玩偶的動作一樣嗎？

公主：嗯……喔！我發現了！每一個玩偶跟隔壁玩偶的動作有一點點不同！好像是連續動作喔…

小精靈：嘿嘿！現在，請你按下「開始鈕」，讓轉盤動起來。

公主：哇～轉得好快喔！看不清楚誰是誰了！

小精靈：別眨眼，等閃光燈啟動，魔法就要開始囉！

公主：哇！太神奇了！玩偶全部活過來了！大耳朵精靈正在拍著大耳朵飛起來，亮亮寶貝也在跳舞耶！好好玩！

小精靈：這就是「視覺暫留」的魔法！其實我們的眼睛就像一台「高速相機」，看到的影像會短暫留在腦海裡。不過，當轉盤轉得飛快時，如果眼睛持續一直拍照，所有的影像會重疊在一起，變得模糊一片。這時候，閃光燈就是最關鍵的「快門開關」！燈亮時，眼睛能拍到一張清楚的定格照；燈滅時，因為太暗拍不到，正好讓眼睛休息。

公主：哦！所以閃光燈是在幫眼睛「控制拍照速度」囉？

小精靈：沒錯！透過閃光燈這樣快速地開開關關，讓大腦能接收到一張張清晰不重疊的畫面，大腦就像「玩接龍」一樣把畫面串起來，靜止的玩偶看起來就像真的動起來了。

公主：原來如此！我們的眼睛和大腦配合得真好。

小精靈：沒錯！你看，旁邊的展板還教我們利用這個原理，把「綠色獨眼怪」關進籠子裡，回家你也可以動手做做看喔！

Fairy: This magic is called "persistence of vision!" Our eyes are actually like a "high-speed camera"; images they see will briefly stay in our brain. But when the turntable is spinning really fast, if our eyes keep making pictures, all the images will overlap and become blurry. At that time, the flashing light functions as a "shutter!" When it flashes, our eyes can capture one clear still; when the light goes off, our eyes can't take a picture because it's too dark, so they can rest.

Princess: Oh! So the flashing light helps our eyes "control the picture taking speed?"

Fairy: That's right! By quickly turning on and off, the flashing light lets our brain receive clear images that don't overlap. And, like a "chain," our brain links the images, so the still dolls look like they really are moving.

Princess: I see! Our eyes and brain sure get along well.
